Mineral Color Photography — Where Nature's Palette Becomes Collectible Art

Welcome to our Color collection — a curated gallery of mineral color photography prints. Here we reveal the extraordinary chromatic beauty hidden inside natural crystals and geological specimens. Using advanced macro and micro photography, we capture vivid hues, delicate gradients, and luminous color transitions. As a result, each mineral becomes a one-of-a-kind artwork you can display on your wall.

From the deep sapphire blues of azurite to the fiery reds of realgar, the electric greens of malachite, and the golden warmth of citrine — this collection celebrates nature's remarkable spectrum of colors. Each limited edition mineral art print highlights real geological formations. Moreover, every image represents an authentic mineral specimen captured with scientific precision and artistic vision.

How We Capture Mineral Colors — Our Process

We spend hours studying every specimen. First, we carefully position the mineral under our Sony A7R IV camera with Mitutoyo HR microscope objectives and Laowa macro lenses. Then our founder, Konstantin Korobeinikov, selects the angle and lighting that reveal the mineral's most vibrant color structures.

Next we use Zerene Stacker to combine hundreds of images through focus stacking on a precision StackMaster rail system. Some of our most detailed photographs require more than 300 individual frames. This process creates the depth and chromatic clarity visible in the final artwork. Meanwhile, producing video material is even more demanding and often requires several days of preparation before editing begins.

Museum-Grade Fine Art Prints for Collectors

If you want to buy mineral photography wall art, our Color collection offers museum-quality prints for collectors. We print each artwork on archival paper using pigment inks rated for more than 100 years. In addition, we limit every edition to a maximum of three prints worldwide. We also create one special edition that pairs a framed photograph with the original mineral specimen.

Our founder personally authenticates every print with a micro metal stamp featuring the initials KK. This jeweler-grade mark guarantees authenticity and cannot be forged.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are the colors in your mineral photography real or digitally enhanced?

A: Every color you see is completely natural. We never alter the colors of our mineral specimens. Instead, our Sony A7R IV sensor and Mitutoyo HR objectives capture microscopic color structures. Professional lighting then reveals chromatic details that the naked eye cannot normally see.

Q: What makes your limited edition mineral prints different from regular art prints?

A: We strictly limit each artwork to three prints worldwide, plus one special edition paired with the original mineral specimen. We print every image on museum-grade archival paper using pigment inks rated for more than 100 years. Our founder authenticates each print with a KK micro metal stamp. In addition, every artwork includes a laser-engraved anodized aluminum mineral identification card.

Q: Can I buy mineral color photography as wall art for my home?

A: Absolutely. Our prints are designed specifically for display. Archival paper and pigment inks keep the artwork vibrant for generations. As a result, each piece can transform any room into a gallery of natural beauty.

Q: How do you photograph minerals at such extreme magnification?

A: We combine the Sony A7R IV camera with Mitutoyo HR infinity-corrected microscope objectives, Laowa macro lenses, and a Hirox 3D Digital Microscope. Then we capture hundreds of images and combine them through focus stacking in Zerene Stacker. A StackMaster precision rail and Standa micro-positioning tools ensure sub-micrometer accuracy.
